Overview

The Student Handbook focuses on character, life skills and personal enrichment education, utilizing recognized 21 Century Learning Skills in conjunction with digital age and knowledge economy. Embedded throughout the text is the company's Core Values. The handbook includes quotes, stories, poems, biblical references and references to websites, books, music lyrics and other information to emphasize the main themes of the chapters. Student participation is highly interactive with involvement in projects and team building exercises. As a way of fully engaging the students, they are encouraged to track their own progress with the use of technology, i.e., texting, emails, podcasts, website blogs and other social networks. The course is conducted a minimum of 3 hours a week for the length of a school semester (54 hours) or may be extended to an entire school year. The training includes the following program components:
